Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage

Conditions:

1) Geographical Limit: Within India.
2) Only new assets will be covered under the protection plan.
3) Protection plan needs to be taken at the time of purchase of assets.
4) Protection plan is not transferable.
5) Number of claims for damage is subject to the Sum Insured (Invoice Value) of the Apple device.
6) Claim has to be intimated within 48 hours at any of our service centers, by call, mail or in person.
7) In case of claim – The repair/ replacement has to be done only at the Apple Authorized Service Center.
8) In all cases where a repair or replacement of covered asset is necessitated, the original covered Equipment and/or its components thereof which are replaced, or any resulting, Salvage shall become our property, and we shall not be liable to return such covered Equipment to the Customer.
9) For any replacement due to part unavailability, our liability will be restricted to the part replacement cost.
10) Excess Amount: Payable by the client,
(i) in case of Phone, Watch, Pad – 5% of claim or ₹2,500 whichever is higher.
(ii) in case of CPU – 10% of claim or ₹2,500 whichever is higher.
12) If the estimated repair cost is more than 75% of the market value of the device, it
shall be treated as a Total Loss case
11) In claims of Total Loss depreciation is applicable as below. After which the protection Cover comes to an end.

Depreciation:

Completed age of asset Applicable depreciation
0 – 3 months 10%
3 – 6 months 25%
6 – 12 months 50%

Warranties:
1) Warranted that asset covered is not left unattended.
2) Warranted that the asset covered should be always kept under care and custody of the authorized person.

Exclusions: 
1) Loss or damage to the covered Equipment due to mysterious circumstances /disappearance or unexplained reasons.
2) Loss of the covered Equipment resulting from or caused by the or attempted theft of any kind.
3) Consequential loss or legal liability of any kind.
4) Any loss or damage for which the manufacturer or seller of the covered asset or any other third party is responsible either by law or under contract
5) Loss or damage that is covered by a supplier, dealer or factory warranty
6) Any loss if the ownership of the covered equipment is transferred.
7) Any loss or damage arising out of any Electrical or Mechanical breakdown, caused by, but not limited to, short circuit, voltage fluctuation, faulty charging, faulty battery, unless specifically covered.
8) Cost of replacement of Battery unless caused by an accidental or liquid damage to the covered Equipment.
9) Loss or damage to accessories of whatsoever nature even if included in the purchase price.
10) Any loss or damage to any covered asset put up for rental or hire purposes, unless expressly covered.
11) Aesthetic defects, including but not limited to dents, scratches on painted, polished or enameled surfaces, and broken plastic on ports and antennae.
12) Improper handling, dismantling, fitting adjustment, repair alteration or modification not approved by the makers/manufacturers and / or the agents of makers/manufacturers.
13) Loss or damage as a direct consequence of wear and tear or of gradual deterioration including but not limited to atmospheric conditions.
14) War or war like operation (whether war be declared or not), cyber-acks, civil commotion, confiscation, requisition or destruction or damage by order of any Government or by any public, municipal or local authority.
15) Any failure of the covered Equipment to operate as a result of problems with respect to the network infrastructure , beneficiary’s network subscription or similar service issues
16) Loss or damage caused by incorrect storage, poor maintenance, wilful negligence, incorrect installation, incorrect set-up, unless the ASC representative would confirm otherwise due substantiation.
17) Loss or damage as a result of attack by unauthorized software/virus, software faults and manufacturing defect owing to which a covered equipment fails to operate
18) Any loss of or damage to the Sim card / memory card
19) Internal leakage of the battery.
20) Internal overloading of the covered equipment. Loss or damage due to any experiments or tests and/or alterations resulting into any abnormal conditions.

Extended Warranty

Conditions: 
1) Geographical Limit: Within India.
2) Only new assets will be covered under the protection plan.
3) Protection plan needs to be taken at the time of purchase of assets.
4) Protection plan is not transferable.
5) Number of claims for damage is subject to the Sum Insured (Invoice Value) of the Apple device.
6) Claim has to be intimated within 48 hours at any of our service centers, by call, mail or in person.
7) In case of claim – The repair/ replacement has to be done only at the Apple Authorized Service Centers
8) Excess charges – NIL excess charges in case of claims due to Manufacturing defects
9) If the estimated repair cost is more than 75% of the market value of the device, it shall be treated as a Total Loss case.
10) In the event of Total loss or if the device is Beyond Economic Repair, customer shall be entitled for either –
(i) Replacement handset of similar make, model and specifications, or,
(ii) Cash settlement equivalent to the depreciated value of the asset,

whichever is lower.
11) In the event of Total loss or if the device is Beyond Economic Repair, salvage has to be submitted to the us.
12) In claims of Total Loss depreciation is applicable as below. After which the protection Cover comes to an end

Depreciation:

Warranties:
1) Warranted that asset covered is not le unattended.
2) Warranted that the asset covered should be always kept under care and custody of the authorized person.

Exclusions:
1) Breakdown caused by not following manufacturer’s instructions
2) Breakdown due to willful act, abuse, negligence
3) The cost of general maintenance, adjustments, resetting of controls, tuning, cleaning.
4) Any loss arising out of normal wear and tear of the covered Asset or its parts.
5) Any modification to the covered Asset or use which is not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruction or use of any accessory which has not been approved
6) All consumer replaceable items such as batteries (including rechargeable batteries) data storage media, and any other parts or materials which are designed to be
7) Any failure or damage ever covered under a product recall
8) Any loss arising due to any external cause such as fire, flood, lightning, theft, mysterious disappearance, malicious mischief, vandalism, explosion, water damage,
9) Use of covered Asset in a commercial environment, unless specifically accepted by us
10) Any cost for the replacement or reinstatement of any data, software, information or music stored, on the covered Asset
11) Any legal liability, consequential loss, loss of use or damage/injury to third party
12) Any equipment whose warranty schedule, invoice, receipt or serial plate has been modified, defaced or ruined or tampered.
13) Losses arising out of any third party software related issues or issues arising out of the abnormal functioning of OS (operational system)
