Job Summary: As a Store Athlete at our Under Armour store, you will be a brand ambassador responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating an engaging and inspiring shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service and Sales:
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering product recommendations and assistance.
- Drive sales by demonstrating product knowledge, highlighting features and benefits, and promoting add-on purchases.
- Utilize active selling techniques to maximize sales and meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
- Product Knowledge and Brand Representation:
- Maintain a deep understanding of Under Armour’s product lines, including apparel, footwear, and accessories, and stay updated on new product launches and features. • Demonstrate expertise in the performance and technology aspects of Under Armour products to educate customers and inspire confidence in the brand.
- Uphold the Under Armour brand image by embodying its core values, including passion, integrity, innovation, and teamwork.
- Team Support and Leadership:
- Serve as a mentor and role model for the store team, leading by example and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist in training and developing new Store Athletes, providing guidance on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Support the Store Manager in driving a high-performance culture, fostering teamwork, and motivating the team to achieve sales and service goals.
- Store Operations:
- Assist in maintaining the store’s visual presentation, ensuring product displays are organized, visually appealing, and aligned with Under Armour’s merchandising standards.
- Support inventory management activities, including receiving, replenishment, and stockroom organization, to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient operations. • Adhere to operational procedures, including cash handling, POS transactions, and opening/closing duties, to maintain a secure and compliant store environment.
- Brand Engagement and Community Outreach:
- Actively engage with customers to promote the Under Armour brand, values, and initiatives. • Participate in local community events, sports activities, and outreach programs to strengthen brand presence and build relationships with customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market insights, providing feedback and recommendations to enhance the store’s performance.
