As a Store Athlete at our Under Armour store, you will be a brand ambassador responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating an engaging and inspiring shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities:
1.Customer Service and Sales:
•Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering product recommendations and assistance.
•Drive sales by demonstrating product knowledge, highlighting features and benefits, and promoting add-on purchases.
•Utilize active selling techniques to maximize sales and meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
2.Product Knowledge and Brand Representation:
•Maintain a deep understanding of Under Armour’s product lines, including apparel, footwear, and accessories, and stay updated on new product launches and features.
•Demonstrate expertise in the performance and technology aspects of Under Armour products to educate customers and inspire confidence in the brand.
•Uphold the Under Armour brand image by embodying its core values, including passion, integrity, innovation, and teamwork.
3.Team Support and Leadership:
•Serve as a mentor and role model for the store team, leading by example and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
•Assist in training and developing new Store Athletes, providing guidance on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
•Support the Store Manager in driving a high-performance culture, fostering teamwork, and motivating the team to achieve sales and service goals.
4.Store Operations:
•Assist in maintaining the store’s visual presentation, ensuring product displays are organized, visually appealing, and aligned with Under Armour’s merchandising standards.
•Support inventory management activities, including receiving, replenishment, and stockroom organization, to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient operations.
•Adhere to operational procedures, including cash handling, POS transactions, and opening/closing duties, to maintain a secure and compliant store environment.
5.Brand Engagement and Community Outreach:
•Actively engage with customers to promote the Under Armour brand, values, and initiatives.
•Participate in local community events, sports activities, and outreach programs to strengthen brand presence and build relationships with customers.
•Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market insights, providing feedback and recommendations to enhance the store’s performance.
