Store Manager – Under Armour

As a Store Manager at our Under Armour store, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the store. You will lead a team of associates, ensuring that they deliver exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets and maintaining a positive brand image. The Store Manager plays a critical role in maximizing profitability, driving operational excellence, and fostering a motivated and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
1.Leadership and Team Management:
•Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates.
•Set clear expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
•Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
•Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
2.Sales and Customer Service:
•Drive sales by setting and achieving sales targets and maximizing store profitability.
•Develop and implement strategies to increase customer traffic, conversion rates, and average transaction value.
•Ensure that the store provides an excellent customer experience, resolving customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
•Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet or exceed sales goals.
3.Store Operations and Visual Merchandising:
•Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, following Under Armour’s visual merchandising guidelines.
•Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment, transfers, and markdowns, to optimize sales and minimize stock shrinkage.
•Monitor and maintain store compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling, security, and loss prevention.
•Implement effective operational processes to streamline workflow and maximize efficiency.
4.Financial Management:
•Prepare and manage the store budget, including sales forecasts, payroll expenses, and operational costs.
•Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to drive sales and profitability.
•Control expenses and minimize operational costs without compromising customer service or store standards.
5.Brand Ambassadorship and Networking:
•Represent the Under Armour brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, both within the store and in the local community.
•Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and potential partners to drive brand awareness and attract customers.
•Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions, providing feedback and recommendations to senior management.
