Assistant Manager – Projects & Facilities

We are looking for a hands-on architect who is comfortable working on-site, managing vendors, and executing projects. This role is not design-heavy — it is execution, coordination, and problem-solving focused.

The person will be responsible for :

New store execution (fit-outs)
Ongoing maintenance of existing company locations

Job Description

1. Store Development & Fit-Out Execution

• Create basic AutoCAD drawings for store layouts and execution
• Take accurate site measurements
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Ensure timely execution of new store projects
• Be actively involved on-site during store setup
• Track work progress and ensure quality standards are met
• Use project management tools for better and timely execution

2. Repairs & Maintenance (All Locations)

• Handle day-to-day store maintenance requirements, including:
• Civil repairs
• Painting
• Electrical work
• Plumbing
• Pest control
• Diagnose issues and ensure quick resolution
• Coordinate with vendors for repair work across multiple locations
• Ensure stores are always operational and well-maintained

3. Vendor Management

• Identify and onboard reliable local vendors
• Negotiate pricing and obtain competitive quotations
• Compare and finalize vendors based on cost and quality
• Ensure work is completed as per agreed scope and timelines
• Maintain a vendor database for recurring needs.

4. Site Visits & Travel

• Travel across store locations for:
• Site measurements
• Project execution
• Maintenance supervision•
• Maintenance supervision

Be available for on-ground troubleshooting

 

Candidate Profile

Qualification

•Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch)

Experience

• 0–3 years experience
• Experience in:
• Construction sites
• Working drawings
• Site supervision
• Vendor coordination

Candidates with practical site exposure preferred over design-focused profiles

Skills Required

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to create basic execution drawings
• Strong measurement and site assessment skills
• Good vendor handling and negotiation ability
• Problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to be hands-on and on-site

Personality Fit
